Haunting of Beethoven

So I had a dream that I was with a friend and her family decided to stop in the middle of a road between corn fields and go talk to the inhabitants there (whom we knew were zombie-ish folk). My friend and I knew better so we stayed in the van and locked the doors (one wouldn't shut at first, but eventually did). I suggested we leave them and drive away and she agreed, so I did. Then I find myself in a less-scary field by some little stores, walking around and eventually following Beethoven (who was in fact Gary Oldman AS Beethoven, but still). The field turned into a cemetery and I found Beethoven's grave. Huge tombstone that went well over my head. I kissed it and thought the woman there visiting it would think I was weird for doing so. I left and the dream continued with other stuff.

I got up today and was watching a movie called "Elephant" (interesting camera work and all, about a day in high school and two boys who go in with guns and shoot people for fun....stupid ending). The one guy, a few minutes after I turned it on, was playing Beethoven's "Fur Elise" and then "Moonlight Sonata."

Hours later, my mom turns on the same movie, at that same spot.

Minutes after that, I'm in my room flipping through the TV grid to see what's on, checked out what episode of "Gilmore Girls" was on and it was the episode called, "Nick & Nora/Sid & Nancy." Odd because Gary Oldman played Sid Vicious in the 80's movie "Sid & Nancy" (which rules).

I do remember the other week looking at my one Beethoven hits CD and remembering how the cover has not Beethoven, but Gary as Beethoven. Guess they put it out around the time "Immortal Beloved" was out (excellent movie).

I also had a dream I was in my supposed-home cleaning up a big room with my parents and I'd open the patio doors to the view of the beach and say how I missed that. I'm always dreaming we're in California on vacation. I could hear the ocean (which in fact was my wind sound playing on my alarm clock). My mom said to just close my eyes and pretend I was on the beach even though I wasn't. But it seemed so real and I was waiting for it to go away. I even went out into the sand and stepped in the water and said it was hot (because it wasn't really water).

And the night before I dreamed I was on the beach at night with some friends and I said we should play vampire. They didn't want to, so I was the only one and just started scaring everyone with my fangs, hehe! Good times.

EDIT: Just turned on "The Lost Tapes" and it picked up from where I had it on the last time I watched. The scene with Dudley playing Beethoven's "9th Symphony."
