So I had two mall dreams, last night. The first was in a mall that I don't own but am familiar with. It's a darker, busier mall. I couldn't even say where any of the stores are. I was in the end store with some friends and we were gonna play Silence of the Lambs. I was supposed to be Lecter but doing a bad job of it. So I went out into the main area and the real Lecter was walking towards me. We walked through each other and merged. I became him. :-D I had the voice down and everything. Then Anthony Hopkins was there (not as Lecter, but as himself) and he was playing the guard so I bit his face. Then he was playing the 2nd guard and I bit him, too. It was sorta gross, but it was impressing my friends, lol! Then he's sitting there (regular) and I'm sitting there, and my friend is sitting there. She delivered some lines and I was supposed to say something in my Lecter voice, but was so nervous having Tony sitting there beside me that I messed up and started laughing. I said I couldn't do it with him there and he laughed. It was fun.
The next dream, I'm in my own mall and my parents went upstairs to an end store. I told them to wait up, they didn't, waved from the top and left me. So I enjoyed watching two guys playing two pianos at a fancy gathering which was someone's birthday party or something. I decided to go to the main lobby (opening in the middle of the mall) where the pianos are so *I* could play. Some guy was playing the cool one, so I pushed him aside and played a bit. I tested out some other pianos, went down a hall by the entrance to show off for the piano store guy (reading his paper and having his lunch) hoping he'd offer me a job. Then back to the lobby where I sat and watched as Dudley (older, but no glasses) came in and sat at a piano to watch a guy play. Some girl (familiar from school?) was being all sweet and welcoming to Dudley and it made me jealous. I sat quietly in my chair against the wall and even played a bit, but was too shy to do much. While the guy played, Dudley was nodding and swaying to the music and looked really into it. Then someone was at the entrance doing yard work (okay?) and the girl and I got mad cos it was distracting Dudley. We went to yell at the guy and he left. We went back to sit and told everyone that Dudley's driver had pulled his Arthur car around to the entrance and how cool it was. Dudley said he was on vacation and had to get back home, said sorry for the short visit but said he had a great time. He was smiling and happy, but we all knew he would never come back for another visit (being near the end of his life and all) and were sad about it. I watched as he shook hands with the girl and thanked her for everything. I wanted to walk him to his car, but knew that would be weird for some reason. I was so jealous and feeling left out. Then he walked towards me, took my hand and said, "I have something for *you*" and bent down to kiss my cheek. He smiled and I knew that he favoured me over the girl and he knew I had felt overlooked, but he showed how he appreciated me at that moment. It was such a cool feeling.
I woke up still hearing his words in my head and feeling so special. *sigh*
