A Weekend In The Country (with spoilers)
So I finally bought this movie (I could swear I saw it many years ago but didn't remember it) on VHS for about $5.20 or so. It was made in 1995, which would have been around the time Dudley had just started showing signs of his illness (not that you could tell anything in the movie). I couldn't stop thinking of the biography I'm reading and how all that stuff would be happening to him shortly after that year. Then he ends up having a heart attack in the movie and is in the hospital and even though the scene was like 2 minutes, it was hard to watch. And then he goes and puts on a pair of glasses to look at some photos and my heart just melted. I'm fairly sure they were his own glasses since they were tinted like the ones he wore in real life and you don't see ones like that too often. *sigh* Good movie, though.
I also had a dream last night that I was near my house and was hanging out with Dudley and Peter doing some show with them on the street. I was supposed to be asleep so I pretended to be while Dudley tried lifting me and putting me in a certain position. When he was trying to lift me up, I could hear him struggling and I started laughing, which made him laugh and I asked if I was supposed to still be asleep. It skipped ahead to me in a bed (still on the street), naked, with him down my my waist laying horizontally, our legs wrapped around each other. Then Peter comes along and jumps into bed and we're all laying there completely naked (but covered in the right spots with a white sheet) and I said someone is gonna see this and take it the wrong way. Then my parents showed up! I said it wasn't what it looked like and after they left, we got up and tried to be less rated R, lol!
