What's addiction?
When I pick up and play my guitar, that is my addiction. When I am always studying religious or philosophical ideas, that is my addiction. When I smoked pot on rare occasions, that was not an addiction. That was freeing my mind for a few hours. I do not lack God in my life because I partook of His herb. Most of my family doesn't understand this, and they probably won't. But I understand it as truth. Ever touched God, been with him, felt his presence? Probably not. But I have. And that's not being egotistical. I'm just saying that maybe Bible Christians know the concept of God, not God Himself. You're worshiping pages and ideas, stop! Do you not see the heresy? You worship words when the Logos is around you, speaking to you. Are you mindless? Open your ears! He's begging for your time! God is not in your Holy Book, stop looking! Christ is within you! as is his kingdom. Thank you.
