Eric Vale (and the writers? IDK, sometimes they fail) must be pretty damn good, if he's making me 180 on a character.

Yeah, I'd say the writers too. What they write isn't always perfect (not gonna lie, the line "All you have to do is loyally obey me without asking any questions. Do you have any questions for me?" will always irk me), but when they're clever and good, they're really clever and good. And they totally get the characters and everything as well. Plus, Eric Vale is amazing. Like, did you see the video he sent in to Otakon? (I don't remember if you were at the premiere panel or not... ;; ) He just got it perfectly. And if you haven't seen it yet, you absolutely should. He's just awesome. XD

(There are plenty of lines that irk me.

(And using "totally" as go-to lip-flap filler will get on my nerves until my dying day; it doesn't work for every character. *hands writers a thesaurus* Use another word or be more creative, holy shit.)

The writers have so many little kernels and nuggets of pure, unadulterated genius that it almost makes up for the times they fail. Almost, sadly.

I'm pretty sure I did see it, but as it was three months ago, I don't remember it. ^_^;

Yeah, they're not perfect... but considering how hard it is to do what they do, they do a pretty amazing job. Especially with all the little nuggets of pure gold~

And I'm pretty sure you can find it on blog.funimation.com, if you look under the Hetalia tag and go back a little while. And it's absolutely worth watching. In fact, if you want, I can go get the link to the video myself, just so I can watch it again. It's that good. XD
