Yar. My hunt for a new job continues. Apparently TNS or TSN or whatever the sole remaining telemarketing company in town I haven't worked for is named is hiring. I got this tip from the lady who cut my hair tonight.. and I'm not applying. A) After two jobs involving phoning complete strangers, and one job having them phone me, I'd like a break from this by having a job where I might actually see people. In person. And B) The last time I applied at this place, they had a big ad in the paper. I showed up at around 3pm on a Monday.. there were 3 people there. No one was on the phones. This 'big business' is one business suite in a half-empty office building, with about 15 computers, and a single cubicle that's the manager's office. There's a sign on the door saying 'If not an employee, ring to enter." ...The button doesn't do anything. The door is unlocked. So yeah, I'm really hoping I get this job at Value Village. Fulltime cashier or fulltime sorting stock in the back are both fine, since they don't involve telemarketing. *hopehopehope*
