I have issued a formal complaint in writing against my boss for his behaviour. i am freaking terrified.

my doctor issued me a sick note for 2 weeks because i was getting migraines and panic attacks after i got the news about my grandpas passing and in relations to trying to hold everything in whilst being at work. my boss then rang me twice and hassled me about coming back into work using such classic lines as "he was only your grandfather", "you dont have to take his (my doctor's) advice" and "how can you go on holiday but not come to work?"

In that case, he deserves it - try not to panic. The added bonus is that after this goes through, he'll know he can't touch you with a bargepole because if he even sniffs near you in a suspicious manner, HR will come down on him like a tonne of bricks?
