Why do you live so far away? Can't you do the rest of your courses through correspondents?
We may not get into Montreal until the 6th. Can we reserve some time in the day with you? What works best? When do you have to start concentrating on leaving us... uh... Montreal?
I haven't made my travel arrangements yet - it's still too early to know who else (if anyone) is going from the Montreal area. But if I'm bussing...I might not be able to see you at all as I'd have to leav eon the 6th.
The 401 becomes the 20 in Quebec. You'll keep going.... Then signs will point you to take the 40 to Montreal. Don't bother - the 40 goes way further north in the city than you need. So stay on the 20.
For a stretch, you'll think you might not be on the highway anymore - it goes through a stretch where there are actually traffic lights, but it's just that you're passing through L'ile Perrot.
Okay, so you'll cross the bridge, still on 20, and you're on the island of Montreal now. Yay. Nearing downtown, without much effort, continue on the 20 to the 720 (Autoroute Ville Marie).
Take the 720 a few exits to exit 6 - "Vieux-Montréal/Vieux-Port/Boul. St-Laurent," but you're going to follow the second set of signs/directions that'll point you towards Berri and St-Denis streets. (Sounds more complicated than it is.)
You'll come out of the tunnel/exit on St-Antoine. In 3 blocks you're turning left on to St-Hubert. You'll go for a minute or two (past Ste-Catherine, past the bus station) and you'll be going up a hill. That's my block!YAY
Heidi and I went to the Sunshine Coast this weekend with my family, and we discussed the T.O./Montreal thing. We're thinking of skipping Toronto this time around and arriving in Montreal on the 4th. If so, are you around that day?
I'm here! I won't "party" on Shabbat, but I'd *love* to host you two for dinner, wine, etc, on the 4th and/or 5th (until sunset when I start spending money and being "normal" again).
xo

You're more than welcome to stay chez moi (downtown), while I'm here and/or after I've left town.

Remember: the 5th is a Saturday, so while I'll answer my phone, I won't be online.
