Here are the highlights of yesterday:
- At the first job, the one I had to get up at five a.m. to get to, I got scalding hot coffee poured all over me by a man who tried to convince me it was my fault. (There are some advantages to being able to employ ones pain slut talents in non-kink settings.)
- Due to the coffee spill incident and the tightness of my schedule, on the way to the second job, I had to buy a whole new outfit to be a respectable teacher in.
- I found out that the reason I've been having so much trouble fixing my old bike, Helm, is that he's not fixable. Pretty much, he's parts now. I'm keeping the tires. The rear axle is toast. The other parts are up for grabs.
- After working from six a.m. to nine p.m., I discovered that I cannot drink nearly as much whiskey as I used to and definitely not without consequences.
