So Ms. Wine has officially never been out of Louisville, physically nor mentally.
She sort of made a fool out of herself in front of the Bishop of Congo, who, might I add, is an incredibly cool man.
Ms. Wine: "This student's family is from Sudan! Why don't you introduce yourself?"
Student (mumbling at the floor): "I'm from Uganda."
(Ms. Wine continues to smile like an idiot)
Then, later:
Ms. Wine: "These girls went to Kenya this last summer. We are SO proud!"
Archbishop Djomo: "That's wonderful."
Ms. Wine: "We saw the pictures when they got back, there were, like, giraffes in their backyard! So it's, like, an entirely different world."
Africa is not just one big country and there were never giraffes in our backyard. Oh dear.
