The complete works.....
Well, rehersal has started with a vengance. Monday/Wednesday/Thursday with a 7:30 start time. To give you an idea about the staging, ALL of act one was blocked out on Wednesday and Thursday. We block act 2 (HAMLET!) on friday, then start running, and running, and then we are gonna RUN it till we are blue in the face. Its all about the interactions between me and the other two cast members and so far there is some GREAT chemestry there, my only fear is we don't peak before preformance. Show opens first of Novemeber so we have, what, 15 rehersals to nail this thing. Dosn't seem like alot, but we are all professionals, and my record is learning a part (Lines/blocking/character) DURING hell week, so i am not worried about myself.
The only complication is that, well, I am working ALOT of overtime at work right now. With the wify in school and not working (And I don't WANT her working this semester, from what I can tell her classes are a BITCH), I have to get 10 hours of OT in a week for us to break even. I thought this would REALLY suck, what with my other time commitments, but as it turns out, one 16 hour day a week isn't REALLY that bad, as long as the OT happens when no bosses are around (Gotta love late night work:) So Thats where I am now, Waiting for Midnight so I can head home, get some sleep, and race back here in the morning.
At least I get to play a godling on Saturday, that should help alittle.
