Close your eyes and think about what you've been missing in your life lately. It could be a person, pet, place, thing, occasion, feeling. Anything at all that you miss dearly.

"What have I been missing lately?" Artemus waved an expansive hand at the brown scrub and rocky wasteland that stretched before them. A glaring mid-day sun baked the arid landscape and the foolish mortals attempting to make their way across it. "I can answer that in a single word. Water!"

"But we have water," replied the young man. "There are barrels of it in the supply wagon."

"Not that kind of water."

"What's wrong with it?"

"There's nothing wrong with it," said Artemus. "For drinking when there's nothing more suitable around, that is. But that's not the kind of water I'm talking about."

The greenhorn frowned, confused. "What other kind is there?"

Artemus removed his hat and slapped it against his thigh. Clouds of dust puffed outward then sifted to the ground in the motionless air of the desert. "Bath water, Mister Greely. Right now I would give my Great Aunt Maude's gold fillings for a barrel full of bath water!"
