I actually tuned in on the finale, just because I was curious as to what was going to happen. And I totally went "LOL WUT?" because I'd never really gotten into it >.>
The best quote ever: "Oh yeah! Let the BLIND girl steer the ship!"

when series end, it's so sad ;A;
I've actually only read one series where it's ended, the rest have yet to end XDD Although FMA is reaching its BAM factor...I can't wait for the next chapter ;-;
I totally spammed this with non-ATLA stuff.

Seriosuly, she got a little too much joy out of hucking the flaming rocks at them, did she not?

Toph gets a LOT of the series' best lines, seriously. She is amazing and made of win. AND YOU SHOULD WATCH THE SERIES FROM THE BEGINNING. AMAZINGNESS WOULD ENSUE.

I think I might have cried - just a little, mind! - reading this recap. I miss it already. I miss you, too.

ALSO I KINDA LOVE MY ICON?

That's exactly it: the finale made up for what I feel to overall be a weak season. I'm still not sure what happend on Nick's side, but it was awful, and the show and it's fans are the ones who suffered for it.

See, the White Lotus and Ursa are just two HUGE plot points. I just can't help thinking that there WILL be something with that coming out later, especially because Zuko made such a point of asking Ozai about her in the finale. I just... I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'D LEAVE IT HANGING. I'm so naive to still have some faith in Nick...

I completely agree about the epicness of finale! I have tried to talk about with people, but the fandoms a little crazy right now, lol. I want them to do more about Zuko's mother, even a little short thing that explains his search would work.

Ember Islan Players gave me an image of the surprisingly knowledgable cabbage merchent stalking the Avatar...to get revenge maybe, it seems to work with the funny little man.

The fandom is WAY nuts, which is exactly why I had defriended all my Avatar comms until AFTER the finale. Thankfully, I generally got everything I wanted out of it so I have no reason to be nuts myself.

I also really hope they'll go back to Ursa; I just cannot believe that they're going to drop it like that, especially after Zuko made such a point to ask after her in the finale. Iroh's spirit journal as well, we got hints the entire series about that, and I can't believe more information was not forthcoming about that.

I really love the cabbage man being responsible for the Ember Island Players script though. He'll get his revenge one way or another...

Oh it is. Everything that I wanted happened in the finale as well...most of my friends, not so much.

Leaving out the Ursa story and the spirit journey was just another of Bryke's evil tricks on the fans. They love taunting us, it's actually pretty fun, since I'm sure they will eventually get around to telling us whats going on.

The Cabbage man is pretty awesome, I always felt a little bad for the guy. After seeing the play, not so much.

GREY DELISLE WAS THE AMAZING OF AMAZING. I SWEAR SHE AND DANTE BASCO ARE BOTH ABSOLUTELY WONDERFULLY AWESOME VOICE ACTORS.

(You should make that open petition for showing Sokka in his underwear more often. YOU SHOULD. LOL.)

BUMI IS THE SHIZ.

....And now that I think about it, Sokka, Suki, and Toph WERE on a suicide mission. They just got lucky a LOT, and so I never thought of it that way. D:

The whole fandom cried when Zuko and Iroh had their reunion. Seriously, my friend who hated Avatar cried because I was forcing her to watch the finale with me.

What think you of the epilogue-thingy? And Sokka having no drawing ability at all?

Seriously, Azula BLEW ME AWAY. I mean, I know she's a villain, but it was just such a... I don't want to say pitiful, but to descend into that kind of madness - and one that everyone could see coming too. homg. Just, what an amazing job.

And now that I think about it, Sokka, Suki, and Toph WERE on a suicide mission.

They absolutely were, especially once Sokka started crashing the balloon they were RIDING in into OTHER BALLOONS. There's a whole lot here I could say about 9/11 imagery (I know they weren't crashing into buildings, but the whole hijacking an airship and crashing it ugh) that I won't really get into, but like I said, I'm surprised Nick let them go there.

As for the epilogue, Sokka will never have any drawing ability, and we love him for it. I loved the little sight of everyone having a relaxed schmoopy moment, because you know it's gonna get all stressed and angsty and dramatic again at some point anyway. Let them have their moment of peace.
