For example: I once became incredibly hyperfocused and played Solitaire for 30 hours (yes, thirty) instead of writing a research paper due in three days - all because I wanted a certain score.
I think this aspect of Percy and his ADHD was written very well by Riordan in the books, and I just feel the need to explain, a bit, why that is.
