Thank you. You have no idea how much that makes me feel better - Martin is not one of the POVs I'm used to using, so I wasn't sure how all the voices would come through. :)

Ooh, fascinating! ♥

I love this premise, and if you *are* thinking about making this a series, I'd definitely like to read more of it and see the world expanded. This type of blood-based rune magic and the "unnaturals" that seem to wield/fuel it, are all sorts of new and interesting!

Poor Martin - I'm glad he was OK in the end, and that none of the other MJNers freaked out when he had to reveal himself. It's always nice to get an opportunity to see him at his most competent :)

Thank you. I love world building (actually, I like that better than writing prose), so it is really good to hear that it is interesting. And I agree, sometimes I just need to let Martin make his own choices - and to see him be brave.
