Now. Scream 4. Since I refuse to write it in text speak.

Leah and I wanted to go see the movie this weekend because we didn't want to get spoiled by the internet :D

I love the Scream movies. I love them because they suck okay, but they suck in different ways than most horror movies. They draw attention to the fact that they suck and therefore I enjoy them so much more!

The beginning was hilarious. The opening sequence which has been done to death was updated which pleased me.

Courtney Cox should stop having plastic surgery, she looks like a corpse. Just sayin'.

I really enjoyed the movie. And HOT DAMN Hayden Pantyhose was sexy in it. And when she was on Heroes I found her distincly unattractive. But her hair was all short and darker and UNF. And seeing Sidney be all ballsy and wonderful pleased me to no end.

It took about a half an hour for me to really get into it, but after I did, I loved it. I loved that they decided to mock horror remakes now, instead of sequels and trilogies, since that is all everyone is doing these days. I thought that was damn clever. I loved the suspense. Leah and I were squealing and probably annoying the people around us but whatever, because we are awesome.

And PRESIDENT ROSLIN WAS IN IT! And she totes died which was lame. I don't know how I feel about Emma Roberts as the killer. She was really good at being nuts, but not so good at the dialouge. But you know...when is it ever done well? Ghostface's phone dialouge made us giggle so many times.

"I am going to slit through your eyelids so you have to watch me stab you in the face!"

Us: *GIGGLES!*

I don't think that was the intended reaction...

Either way, I figured it out kind of just as the movie revealed it, which actually pleases me. I generally figure twists out and it's starting to annoy me. So I was glad I didn't know five seconds in who the killer was. Or...killers. Is it just me, or do all the Culkins look kind of like serial murderers when they get older even though they were adorable kids?!

Anyway. I loved it. Not as much as the original trilogy because there was no Cotton or Randy and Dewey and Gale are looking a little worn, but I had a very good time!

And Marley Shelton was in it. I met her like 12 years ago. It makes me laugh :D

scary movies are my crack, lara loves you, I ♥ nerds, movies, nostalgia, horror movies, yay!
