+ AUTUMN & WINTER - Bitter currant and dry leaves. Winter wind at dusk. That’s it, along w a very long poem. But I have to say this is the most sensual winter wind at dusk I’ve ever smelled. Frankly, the analogy baffles me. To moi, it’s definitely one of those come-closer blends, something like Hellfire -- pipe tobacco, old leather, amber, dark musk and incense.
+ CERBERUS (Oblation Blend, aging beautifully since 2004!) - Cerberus, the Three-Headed watchdog that guards the gate to Hades: deep chocolate, deeper musks, with a dash of fig, bittersweet walnut, and the wild essences of juniper berry, cubeb and rum.
+ DARK DELICACIES 2007 (original) - shoulder - the embodiment of sinister sensuality. A heady, darkly romantic blend of devil's trumpet accord, black orchid, tonka, coconut meat, fruit gums, osmanthus, smoky resin, myrtle, and Indonesian patchouli.
+ GRAVEYARD DIRT - full - A tribute to a notorious ingredient in New Orleans spellcrafting. It is employed in hoodoo rootwork , primarily in spells of protection, “tricking” your enemies, binding, and even love magick. This is the scent of pure graveyard dust, spattered with grave loam and dusted lightly with tombstone moss.
+ L’ESSENCE DE L’ARDEUR - shoulder - The Eros Inquisition - Lupercalia 2012 - fiery intensity of feeling. Centifolia rose absolute, tea rose, bourbon vanilla, bittersweet chocolate, champaca resinoid, myrrh, nutmeg, pomegranate, and benzoin. The seller told me this one is rare.
+ MOURNING LACE - shoulder - Dark Delicacies, Valentine’s Day 2012 - A contemplation of death: fragile vanilla blossom with polished oak, bitter clove, frankincense, myrrh, and green cognac.
+ OLD MOON - shoulder - 2011 - The scent of things drifting just on the edge of memory. Old, yellowing books, dust-covered toys pushed to the back of the attic, windows obscured by thick, thorny vines, letters discarded, and photographs of people long-forgotten.
+ RAVEN MOON -2012 - The Raven Moon Flies Over the Halloween Skies of BPAL, Halloweenie - The boundaries which divide Life from Death are shadowy. Who shall say where the one ends, and where the other begins? Mournful and Never-ending Remembrance: shining, moonlit ebony musk with benzoin, myrrh, smoky vanilla, patchouli, nutmeg, and dried red chili.
