Rose Petal Ice Cream = The Most Amazing Thing Ever.
Seriously. It tastes like roses smell. It felt like I was planting roses in my soul. I have never been so pleasantly surprised.
It brought stars into the eyes of its disciples and brought the skeptics to their knees.
Beerbike was fun slash nerve wracking. I was alternate on the bike team, so I stood there hoping hoping that nobody crashed, because I was so not in the mood to bike on five.5 hours of sleep. Luckily the women's race went smoothly, although some guy ran off the track during the guys race. Sid started blaring its music at 6:17 in the morning, which was incredibly frustrating to my tired brain. Then I had to go to the bike/chug/pit crew team breakfast, where I engulfed two cups of coffee that subsequently assured that I could nap no further despite my continuing fatigue. But Ivy braided my hair and I love my hair braided. I put on my jersey and watched the massive water balloon fight and nearly but not exactly got hit. Then we headed out to the track with the bikes. Then beerbike occurred. We won the alum race, 4th in the women's race, and 2nd in the guys. Next year we shall sweep. Then we came back and had an expansive TG and by then everybody was in a good albeit dehydrated mood, and we drove out to Hanks Ice Cream where I got the amazing
ROSE PETAL
goodness and then we watched Top Gun and it brought memories of the whole USAFA endeavor and how I was pilot qualified but ended up coming here instead and while I don't regret it, I could have flown a fighter jet and I would have been damn good at it too.
Then I watched a largish group play kemps and I pronounced my opinion on jandrew's bottle of "apple juice" which was actually really cheap and volatile whiskey. It tasted like motor oil in the way that Rose Petal tasted like roses. I know college kids are poor, but that stuff was probably poisonous. It traumatized me so thoroughly that I vowed, when I am rich and doctorly, to fill my basement with the highest quality fragrant red wines. To be placed alongside the chocolaterie. And the Rose Petal Ice Cream freezer. And then I shall probably never eat or drink any of it for fear of disrupting the perfection of my collection.
Oh and beerbike disrupted my normal orgo study schedule. And a test tomorrow. I am such a procrastinator. I still have two chapters to do. Out of 3.
