Just got back from the doctor. They made us get blood work done yesterday, and we were told to wait about 20 minutes for the results. Over an hour later, I went to check with them. and it turn sout the ER swamped them, so they hadn't even run the test. So I had to call back today.
Today, I got a voicemail from the hospital saying that I really needed to come in there and talk with them and get an ultra-sound. Got in for an ultra-sound 20 minutes later, and guess whose still there?
S/He is still alive and kicking, and quite active, with a healthy heart rate of 160bpm. I couldn't see the screen but I was watching Jon's expression which was confused as if he had seen something there. When they went in another way, Jon's eyes wided and asked if that was what he thought it was. Sure enough, there was the baby bouncing around healthily and happily.
So I guess I didn't micarry, and we'll never know exactly what happened. It could have been a twin, it could have been tissue, no one knows. But *SQUEEE* I'm still going to be a mommy!
