I'm working on an "Effily" AU fic set in Venice.... no not Italy [I'm well classy but not that classy]
I'm talking about Venice California, where the water is the color of algae/seaweed and the medicinal marijuana clinics are only a street corner away.
everything is beautiful, it just depends how you look at it.
