Finished The Galaxy Railways tonight. I was shocked at how awesome this was and how I randomly happened by it during Fall Break. Seriously, it was a fluke of nature that I clicked on it.... I truly love the philosophical ideals of destiny and fate that are just thrown out there. I mean, the show is phenomenal as a small action anime but it's the internal debates that these characters have about their actions, mortality and fate that lead me to fall in love with this one. True, there is so much sacrifice (like 10 or so "main characters") but the way that the living characters handle these deaths and reflect upon the shared memories of the deceased.... I don't know, but it was truly exciting to watch. And yes, I did get a tad teary eyed at parts (which I can't say I did for other anime's of my patronage).

On a more academic note, I will be done with my final set of classes for my bachelor's this time next week. This makes me a very happy Panda. It is so exciting that I will be student teaching come the beginning of January. It is also quite scary that after 4 years of education in history and pedagogy that I will be responsible for helping form the public masses into productive members of society.  Will I succeed in educating the youth or will I be more apt to use this institution to create my own army of intellects? The world has yet to see the outcome.

But I must head to work the graveyard shift at the library (damn finals grrr). Hopefully the desk remains fairly quiet so I can get these papers done....
