can I just say.....
that Pappasito's makes some of THE BEST margaritas in town? and that's saying a lot.....and god bless our waitress, she brought us 'to go' cups because we hadn't quite finished the second round of drinks....and the chipotle shrimp is absolutely to die for.....bethie is buzzed and full and happy and still enjoying the tequila goodness at home (this one was a frozen 'rita with raspberry and melon liqour floaters)
and to top off tonight's episode of 'why I love Houston' we have the new Harry Potter movie...which I am going to see IN IMAX 3D this weekend.....there are at least 3 (and I think actually 4) IMAX theaters in this metro area, one of which is NOT in the usual museum setting but is attached to a regular theater, and is is where we're going
- new job = AWESOME
- new house = AWESOME (though I don't think I'll ever finish unpacking)
- pool in my new backyard = AWESOME
- and we're more than likely adopting a Shar-pei this weeknd, which will also be AWESOME (we've been approved for the adoption, going to visit one of the furballs tomorrow to see if we're a good match)
if anyone wants to come visit, lemme know, we've got nearly everything you could want to do/eat/get in to out here, including the walmart supercenter of booze stores on almost every corner (ok so not that many, but tons of locations including one out here in the 'burbs) and a great 'all you can eat for $25 on sunday' sushi joint. we just got back from taking an old coworker of Stephen's out to dinner, he's out here this week on a business trip from Bham
