and so it begins....
the invitations to my bridal tea went in the mail yesterday and today began the calls to RSVP.
stephen's granny (the contact person on the RSVP) just called to tell me she got a phone call from someone who was convinced she got an invitation by mistake because she didn't recognize any of the names on the invitation.....it's one of my grandmother's best friends, who i've known since i was a kid, and we go to the same church!
i called my grandmother, she called her friend, and it turns out that not only did this friend make that mistake, but another friend didn't recognize my name either! i guess they assumed that i'd have the same last name as my maternal grandmother who has remarried since my mother was born (not to mention my mother obviously having a married name)
