"This is for LeRoi..."
Seeing them get upset makes me so sad but its comforting. I automatically shed a lil tear b/c I know how much everyone misses him. What a tragic loss. I really miss Roi. Seeing this made me as sad as the day I heard he passed b/c it reaffirms that one of my life goals can never be met. All the same it makes me so happy ...that line "This is for LeRoi...." gives me tiny butterflies. That emotion from the band is what makes me love them so....what sets them apart from all others for me and many. Its personal with them...its a family that INCLUDES the fans. Its makes me even crazier to know that some people will never realize just how amazing this band is b/c of stereotype or just not automatically digging a different sound. Not just the music but the men as human beings that grew together. So many people will just never know or understand why DMB are truly different then all the rest. Kicked my need to make my art piece into overdrive. Going shopping tomorrow.
