Nothing huge going on lately. Been busy.
Last Thursday was Melissa's (one of the FB managers) last day and party. She quit. Obviously it was a celebration that anyone was ballsy enough to escape this place so we got crazy. Drinking from 5-after midnight left me for a rough Friday morning/afternoon at work. It was worth it. Congrats to her for finally breaking free. At night Bob and I went to poker/bonfire night at Steve and Becky's which was fun. Saturday I had my spa appointment at Gina Agosta Salon in Novi. It was fantastic. Got an hour facial and manicure and pedicure. Finished that afternoon of pampering with a Qdoba steak burrito. Mmmmm. After that I met up with Bob and headed to Dally in the Alley which was also a good time. Just walked around and picked up a few goods. Late Saturday night we went to the LockerRoom for Mel's b-day. Wasn't too bad considering I hate that place. After that we were exhausted so I went home and fell asleep on Bob which was quite nice. I think my mindset is changing b/c I used to hate sleeping with someone else but now I find I sleep much more soundly and comfortably when he's next to me. Interesting. I woke up Sunday when he was leaving to go fishing then fell back asleep. Basically stayed in my pj's all day and did absolutely nothing. WONDERFUL! I needed it.
Yesterday was a long day at work. All Nico's personal photos on iphoto finally killed the comp. At around 12mb a piece it finally screwed up my computer. I opened iphoto and everything was gone. Over 20,000 photos, GONE! Eventually I was able to recover them all and started the process of moving and deleting all non-work files. The iphoto crash was bad but when i found I only had about 121mb left of free space on the whole machine....I had enough. I'm still working on it now, about half way done.
Lets see what else, what else? Went to the Chagrin band practice to take photos and help Steve fix the logo. That was ok. Matt is in town this week so we'll hopefully be hanging with him before he goes back to Florida. I think Bob is planning golf on Wednesday with Brando and Sarah and Tom...maybe Matt too. No other plans this week except taking Noah back to the vet to continue treatment on his ears. Thats Saturday.
Next week is the Rusty Deyah/Past Due show at the Token Lounge. I can't get enough of Rusty so I'm definitely going. That'll be my 10 month anniversary present to myself. Saturday is the Chagrin Rock and Rummage show at Paychecks and thats about it. Hopefully somewhere in all that mess I can relax a minute eh?
