Just thought to let everyone know I'm alive. Sad/Happy depending on where you are or how much you tolerate me... I'm not coming back to Louisville tomorrow like planned. I'll be coming in late on the 23rd. Mom had difficulty taking time off since she decided she was going to be the one to drop me off since my very dear boyfriend decided not to fly in. I finished work at Sprint last Friday... sad to go and leave my co-workers but not really the whole bureaucracy of the corporate world. I did get to shake the hand of the CEO, Gary Forsee, and put his mike on last Thursday. Also went to lunch with his secretary and talked with the CFO and COO of the company. I made way too many connections while there for a lowly intern. Actually Intern I, the lowest full-time employment you can get. But I finally have a week to relax just a bit, while packing and driving Cory to and from marching band practice twice a day. I snuck back into work on Monday to hand in my key to the studio... probably the hardest thing to do, considering I had to give up rights to all the audio and video equipment in there. My badge still worked so I snuck into my dad's building and scared him... had a good lunch since we haven't been able to have lunch together in over three weeks and we worked together. I'm sad that I'll miss going and being involved in all of the different departments' streaming webcasts that the studio produced. I got pretty interested in how the company was run. It'll definitely help when I finish up the arts admin degree and have to finish all of the business classes. I also liked the fact that Mom would get the day's happenings in stereo from dad and I. heheh. I guess I just really wanted to let you guys know I'm alive and I really haven't been keeping in touch very well this summer, with anyone, so don't feel like you've gotten special treatment, I've been heartless to everyone.
