Star Wars, then later in the year it shifted to Detroit: Become Human
Your favorite movie seen this year?
Black Panther, probably, though Solo is a very close second.
Your favorite book read this year?
All Systems Red by Martha Wells. However, I haven't read many books so I dunno what it's worth.
Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
It would be really nice if I could name that, huh, but I'm terrible naming one at the drop of a hat. I'll remember next time I listen to it
Your favorite TV show of the year?
Supergirl, I've really fallen hard for it this year
Your favorite video game of the year?
Pointing above, I feel morally obligated to name Detroit: Become Human
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Again, D:BH, the fandom has been such a joy and distraction from RL woes in the second half of this year. I'm very grateful for my friends

anamelesstraveler who dragged me into it (kicking and screaming, I really didn't want to be fannish about a game when I have barely even a passing interest in games) and have since dragged more friends along like

writinredhead, who in turn have dragged their friends
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
The complete lack of fandom attention on Solo, even the characters who got praised all over Tumblr for the Important Representation they are, yet fannish attention has been zero beyond token picture reblogs and lip service, and yes, I'm judging my fandom for it
Your fandom boyfriend of the year?
Connor? I'm predictable and shallow and my tastes aren't even hipster. Younger me would be so appalled.
Your fandom girlfriend of the year?
Qi'ra of Solo, who has instantly become one of my favorite SW ladies and fandom bicycle
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
The Bumblebee trailer and sudden return of my love for all things Transformers later in the year and earlier, Star Trek: Discovery. Having new Star Trek was SUCH a joy and made the first half of 2018 for me
The most missed of your old fandoms?
Harry Potter, I think, I've had a lot of moments this year where I remembered it fondly

Mass Effect, when I finally play the games after promising Spooky for a year or two now that I would

I won't get to see Bumblebee until well into January so that's my current biggest anticipation
