(no subject)
To sum up the week so far:
-Lots of class
-Grandma's heart stopped wednesday, which she recovered from, then kidneys failed yesterday which they still don't know the status on. Worry that they won't be able to do dialysis since her heart couldn't take it which wouldn't give her long at all. Anyways, have to go home this weekend and told church not to expect me sunday, which brings me to the next problem.
-Car broke down yesterday so had to have it towed into the shop. Think it's just the battery or the battery cables (my powerlocks wouldn't even work) which shouldn't be a major problem but certainly makes the getting home bit more interesting.
-Incident at church which involves parents bringing their kids to small group night, then not actually making sure they go to said groups so kids are running amuk outside in 10 degree weather. They were actually caught this week leading to parents yelling that we don't have programming for their kids, there is kind of a dead zone between the kids ministry and the youth ministry but such is the problems of a small church. Then of course as the church there is the bigger problem that we can't have kids running around because a) they steal stuff (have caught them twice) and b) huge liability issue. Made for an interesting Wednesday night.
Hope your weeks are going better than mine. Of course do have to say that I have the best girlfriend ever, when I finally got over to Em's place at like 9 on Valentine's I was just a wreck because of said events and Em was all sweet making dinner, dessert, these ubercute cocktails, and giving me some sweet presents hehe. Did finally get to cook my meal last night, have to say the salmon cakes are a real keeper recipe as they were awesome. Peace and happiness to all.
