(no subject)
Dad answered the phone last night, and the woman on the other end said that she was calling around to conduct a survey about media use "and PLEASE don't hang up on me!" Dad didn't, but passed the phone off to my brother, who went through the whole survey. It was all yes or no questions, and Mom said he was sitting there going "No... no... no... no... no... no... Yes! ...no." The surveyor said, "Wow, you're really good at this!" Chris goes, "Well, it's yes or no questions; it's not exactly difficult." The woman answered darkly, "You'd be surprised."
Later she asked him a bit about himself for the survey, and he said that he had a post-secondary degree. She commented, "Oh, THAT explains it!"
Chris: The fact that I can answer yes or no questions?
Surveyor: No, the fact that you seem to actually have a brain.
Sounds to me like somebody's lacking some job satisfaction. :P
