I just found out that I won
Sudden Storm Entertainment's Adapt to Film Competition!! I had to choose a novel written before 1960 that I thought would make a good film adaptation, and write a log line, a summary, and "A one-page document detailing why you feel this piece would make an
exceptional film, what are the challenges to adapt it, and how might
you approach the adaptation of the material." The prize is $750 Canadian (which, the internets tells me is about $775 US!) and "the chance to become the "Development Executive" on the project should the production company decide to develop it." I chose
The Grand Sophy by Georgette Heyer. I honestly don't know why more of her works haven't been adapted to film, they're so popular.
In summary:
YAYZ!!
