Relic remains have been tentatively identified as Saints Chrysanthus and Daria. What I'm confused about is why they would have allowed a Vestal Virgin to marry. I also love the bit about the lioness. PS: Being a Vestal Virgin in ancient Rome kind of rocked. Unless you let the fire go out or had sex. Then it rather sucked. PPS: There's an old Wilson tradition that the Evens had an item of unspecified description known as the Palladium. The tradition was that for a week every year it had to be placed somewhere and every Even had to go see it at some point in the week. But they had to do so secretly, so that the Odds wouldn't discover what the Palladium was and steal it. In ancient Rome, the Vestal Virgins were the keepers of the Palladium. Gives a whole new meaning to the reference to Wilsonites in old college literature as virgines Wilsonensis, doesn't it? :P
