I was really excited when I saw that they were making a new Three Musketeers movie and thought James McAvoy was going to be Aramis. Turns out it's just a guy who really LOOKED like James McAvoy in one picture. Oh well. Orlando Bloom is playing the dastardly Duke of Buckingham. CHECK OUT THE PANTS! Enough to make Prince George squee! But what is UP with the hair??

I think I've posted the making-of video for the new Screwtape Letters audiobook with Andy Serkis. You can also listen to the first chapter on Youtube. I love how they put a bit of Lewis's other writings (the debate about what the word "natural" means from Miracles) into the background conversation.

(Really makes me think of the Very Secret Diaries: Bumped into Gandalf who is all sparkly white now. Asked him, "Who do you have to blow to get last bottle of bleach in Middle Earth anyway?" Gandalf said, "The Balrog." So not worth it. Am rethinking, though. Roots are showing. Still prettiest although at this rate for how long? Asked Gandalf for Balrog's number. Gandalf said I couldn't call him. I told him not to be jealous and posessive. He said he wasn't, it was just that he killed Balrog last week. Note to self: never date Gandalf.)
