Samhain
Happy Samhain, or Halloween.

This year has been so insane, I haven't had time to carve any really cool pumpkins this year, but the old ones are out on the porch now, along with the real Jack-O-Lanterns we carved on Saturday over at Karen's. The boys got to carve their own pumpkins this year and they really got into it.
Here's hoping that the turning of this season marks a return to sanity, in many places and in many ways. Maybe the increasing darkness will bring some time for reflection and introspection and a bit less pressure to fill every moment with busyness and little coherent thought.
