 I've gotten in touch with a girl in Guatemala, who's ministry is helping with adoptions. She knows a lot about it and if nothing else she has helped me to feel more at ease with this whole process. It's like I have someone on my side now. Not that I had anyone against me... except time. The US government is putting into effect the Hague something

is it easy for single people to adopt?

i like the name virgina rose, but i like you idea of spanish-izing your moms name too. :)

well, the people helping me say that it wouldn't be a problem that I am adopting as a single.

those names are my favorite too. but I just still haven't decided if she's too old to change her name. :-/
