THIS? Is awesome with awesome sauce. This is
grav_ity's Sanctuary Big Bang, the...er...true story behind the Normandy Invasion. I could rec it for the absolutely wonderful handling of Nikola, or because plot handling is deft, intriguing and masterful, but none of those are the reasons I'm running, not walking, to rec it. The reason I have to rec it is because of her handling of the historical figures, particularly General Patton. I can honestly say that in more than thirty years of staying abreast of nearly every fictional representation of him I could get my hands on that I have never seen a better job. This is right. This is perfect.
grav_ity just buried Ladislas Farago and spat upon his grave. I wish I'd written it!
