Sanctuary fic -- Assignation

Dec 19, 2010 12:24

It's a lot easier to sneak out at night when your boyfriend is a teleporter.

Helen/John, with reference to past John/James, back in the early days of The Five. NC-17 for sex.

Thank you! I'm glad you thought it was hot! John's POV is harder for me than Helen's, but it's really nice to see her through his eyes.

Oh, this is funny and hot and delightfully true to the characters. So much easier to sneak off when your boyfriend can teleport . . . much less simple to get rid of the nosy friends! Hee!

I'm so glad you liked it! Their friends are darling, but sometimes.....

And I'm happy you thought it was hot.

This was wonderful. I loved the interchange between John and Helen, the restraint and yet the need.

Thank you! It's hard for us to get our heads around, that people in their twenties could be so innocent about how it all works. But they're remedying that as quickly as possible! :)

I love the hamper from Fortnums, I love Tesla in a cape (he is SO cute!), I love their almost childlike discussion about sex, Helen saying she will think of England, LOVE the mention of Bedlam!

Thank you! I like the hamper too, and Nikola trying to be properly vampiric!

It's odd to modern ears how innocent they are about sex for people in their late 20s. But that's the period -- and the inevitable Victorian kinks for blood and sex. So much a part of their makeup, under it all, in some really fascinating ways.

The repression makes it all terribly erotic!

It really is! The smallest things are supercharged. It's fascinating to see how that's changed and how it hasn't.
