Vermont is on the verge of becoming one of the coolest states ever.

The governor makes me wonder a bit, though. But then I guess I'll never quite understand the people who say they support civil unions for gays, but don't support gay marriage. I would think they'd be more willing to support the one that denotes love, rather than the one that means

easy - cuz if you say your support gay marriage, then you are crossing the boundaries between church and state. Civil unions are a state thing, marriage is a church thing.

Not that I agree with it, but I see the logic. Sadly, in many states, marriage gives legal rights unions do not, thus blurring the boundaries anyway...

church and state my ass. The reason they have a 'problem' with gay marriage to *begin* with is because of values they're taking FROM THEIR BIBLE. So hell with church and state. They can't legitimately use that excuse.
