Okay, on Thursday I will post atleast one new painting. This new painting will be my attempt to get serious as far as painting. While I love all the stuff that I've been posting lately, I really feel that I've been short-changing myself and sorely under-using the modest amount of talent that I have. When I look at some of the older galleries on my site I see the unhatched seeds of something....something, that if explored could get me taken seriously as an artist. Over the last few days I've been thinking that, yeah, I like to paint guys with fly heads and draw cartoonish people, but I also know that I can paint serious portraits and commercial-looking scenics and also that I'd greatly enjoy doing these things so I'm going to push myself out of my comfort zone and do them. if there's something that my art talent will let me do, I want to do it. I don't want to just do the same thing / style over and over again. No, I am not drunk right now.
