ПРОЩАЙ, АРИЗОНА!
Незаконно пробравшиеся в страну иммигранты (illegals) объявляют бойкот Аризоне, тысячи покидают негостиприимный штат, демонстрируя своё возмущение недавно принятым новым законом SB-1070, направленным против нелегалов.
Последствия этого исхода уже почувствовали на себе некоторые розничные торговцы: газеты сообщают о резком снижении продажи пива, баллончиков с краской (spray paint), оружейные дилеры рапортуют о падении продажи патронов ко всем видам оружия. Тяжелее всего ударил этот exodus по аризонским госпиталям: существенно снизилось число рожениц, укоротились очереди в пунктах скорой помощи (emergency rooms). В совершенной панике владельцы татуировочных салонов.
В маленьком аризонском городке Гуадалупе, южнее Финикса, Мануэль Реналдо (фото выше) - один из тех, кто решил наказать Аризону, - он собирается покинуть пределы штата. Не отрываясь от погрузки краденного в супермаркетах барахла в уведенный у кого-то из местных лохов автомобиль, он заявил нашему репортёру (беседа велась через переводчика): "Это вопрос принципа: я отказываюсь от поддержки штата, который обходится со мной как с преступником! Я и моя семья перезжаем в Калифорнию - в штат, который поддержит меня и мою семью, не унижая нашего достоинства!"
У меня, жителя и налогоплательщика Калифорнии, это интервью вызвало добрую слезу сочувствия: Добро пожаловать, Мануэль!

Excelsior, the national newspaper of Mexico: "The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot."
Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas: "We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population... I love it. They are crapping in their pants with fear. I love it."
Art Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party: "Remember 187 - proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non-citizens - was the last gasp of white America in California."
Gloria Molina, Los Angeles County Supervisor: "We are politicizing every single one of these new citizens that are becoming citizens of this country... I gotta tell you that a lot of people are saying, "I'm going to go out there and vote because I want to pay them back."
Mario Obledo, California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare under Governor Jerry Brown, also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton: "California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn't like it should leave."
Jose Pescador Osuna, Mexican Consul General: "We are practicing 'La Reconquista' in California."
Professor Fernando Guerra, Loyola Marymount University: "We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos... "
