Jorge Vigil

Other than his own site, there's not much in the way of net presence for this dude; some student on Geocities lol commented on him, and that's about the extent of it.]
When shopping with my mom before the winter holiday season, we stumbled into a little place called the Hopf Gallery in Columbia, SC which just so happened to have the only US exhibit of Jorge Vigil's work. I've meant to post his paintings for a while. He has the dreaminess of Dali, the crass sexuality of Bosch, and the shape-based character of Miro. In other words, some cool, crazy stuff with penises everywhere (which, of course, I'm seeing none of on the online gallery, go figure):
