090813 Sugar Bear He Ain't
I know too many people with diabetes; I drew this to give them a laugh at the sicknesses expense. It's scary to watch folks ride the roller coaster of glucose vs insulin levels. This is one of the reason I've started dieting - so I don't develop the disease as it runs on my paternal side of the family. For those not aware, it *IS* a serious illness and, yes, it can kill you... as can a bear whose sugar just bottomed out somewhere in the Marianas Trench.
