Why do you love art so much?
I love it because it's something I can express myself with, since I'm not very good with words. Art gives me the ability to let all my emotions out and it helps me a lot with all my anger problems (which are often quite a problem) but to me, my sketchbook is techincally a diary to me. I never let anyone see inside, and it's always with me, no matter where I end up going.
What kind of art do you do?
I like to change periodically, but I always end up back to drawing more then anything. I like trying different styles and so far my most favorite is photography, for some odd reason. I sketch a lot though, and I draw way too much for my own good, although, technically they are only doodles.
Are you or have you ever been an art student?
I've only ever taken one art class, in my 8th grade year of middle school (besides mandatory art classes in elementary). I'm kind of just going with the flow, and teaching myself what I wish to know.
What are you doing with your life, career wise?
I want to be an artist with all my heart. Always have always will. I am, however, going through the Criminal Justice field with the help of a program at my school, which has also become a passion of mine. Iw ant to continue as an artist, but I love the way the mind (in various types of people) works. And that may be where my path takes me, im just no entirely sure where I wish to go right now.
What was the best art class you've ever taken?
Middle school art class. The teacher was the most amazing teacher ever and i've never had so much fun in a class before that one. I miss it.
What was the best art assignment you've ever had?
It wasn't for an art class, but it was for a geometry project that I had to do. I did it on the Eiffle Tower. It took forever to draw out a smaller scale of the Tower but I loved doing it, it was simply the funnest thing ever.
What is your art inspiration?
My friends. Most definately. And just people in general, because everyone has their own meaning within them, and they are the inspiration that I seek out.
Who/what are some of your favorite famous artists/works of art? (pictures/links welcome!)
"Holy Trinity" by Masaccio
(It's just my all time favorite. When I first saw it I litterally fell in love with it. I'm not all that religious, but I just love this painting with all my heart. One of the best pieces during the Renaissance period.)

"Reaching out for you"
"The Lovers"
"Tree Sketch"
(Im actually very fond of this one. Even though it's very simple. It's almost...2 years old. I like it though.)
