Mmmm Beavertails <3
So it's valentines day -- still in B.C., already over if you're in Ontario.
We're 3 hours behind here.
I wrote an entry on FB already, but I'll probably repost it here sometime.
So it was my first weekend here, and today we went up to Mt. Washington.
It was amazing, going up the mountain there are some gorgeous shots, where you can see the ocean and the whole island, so many tree's and the tree's covered in snow look FAKE I swear! So I took a bunch of pics on my blackberry and Nathalies camera, cause my batteries were at home charging.
I heard my ears pop going up a few times haha.
We got the boys, and I took some pics on the hill (they're in ski lessons) and it was just BEAUTIFUL, looks like the mountains are cloud catchers, which is so neat. The weather at home was absolutely gorgeous, warm and sunny and clear skies, where I just wore a hoodie and some track pants, and was absolutely comfortable. Not too hot, not cold.
So on top of the mountain, anyway, it was great, not too cold, the snow conditions were great, and the hills were gorgeous. Lots of amazing looking snow boards and ski's and superrrr hot snowboarders. I'm thinking of looking up to take a lesson next Sunday and go up with the boys and board for the day.
They have these things called 'beaver tails' similar to a funnel cake from Wonderland but oh so much tastier. You can get different toppings and they're made with like a different kind of batter. But soooo delicious. I got an 'avalanche' which is cheesecake and skor and chocolate sauce. The kids had 'triple trips' which is caramel, chocolate sauce and reeses pieces. Mmmm delicious.
Then we went back down the mountain and ofcourse my ears popped a thousand more times, and I took more pictures.
Then tonight we had dinner, and discussed the weeks plans. Anyways, tomorrow I'm hoping its nice out again, I'd like to walk up and down the ocean beach front.
