It's February already?

January pic-challenge:
I successfully completed my challenge of 50 pics in a month. Well, I'm satisefied at any rate. (From a total of 63 drawings started, there are 37 I consider finished, 17 unfinished (outlines/partially colored), and 9 that I have somewhat arbitrarily categorized as "doodles" (no intention of ever touching again, but I'd feel bad counting them as a whole picture). Counting the unfinished and doodles 1/2 a picture, this is 50.)

I'll post with massive pic-spam at some point in the near future.

Classes:
I love all of my classes for this spring. I'm taking Statistics, Ocean Environments and Archeology of New England. Statistics was the one I was most nervous about, but it's turning out to be even better than I was hoping for. It could well end up completely killing me by the end of the term, but I was expecting that. I like all my professors, and the books for both statistics and archeology are well written, engaging and easy to read without being annoyingly shallow and void of interesting information. I am seriously very impressed with both of them (so far). Unfortunately, the book for oceans is dull and confusing enough for both of them. It ranges from merely boring to awkward (in an "Are you sure you speak English? Really?" sort of way) to so confusing I can't make sense of anything without re-reading each sentence six times. I don't even want to think about reading it without an internet connection on hand, with which to look up all the things it doesn't bother explaining. But it has pretty pictures, and the class is cool.

The literature class is getting better, too, though I really wish The Importance of Being Ernest were longer. I'm actually not sure what we're reading next--supposedly "essayists", but as far as I know, Allyson hasn't chosen them yet. Hopefully, whatever it is, it will be good. Or at least better than Les Mis. Spanish has been pretty good too lately, but I don't know if it will stay that way. I have a feeling Allyson will decide that she wants Julia and Jeff to do more with their website-thing, and it'll go back to me reading and them on the web. Which would suck. But hopefully not.

Psychology is the same as it always has been. I think I'm the only person in the class who actually reads the book anymore. And I'll also be taking ASL this spring, but it doesn't start until next Wednesday, so I can't say if the class is amazing or not yet. I'll be deeply disappointed if I don't completely adore it, though.

And now I need to go finish my reading for archeology. Or watch Torchwood. One of those.
