All the kittens have been adopted. My sister's flute teacher took the black one, and one of the ACE teachers took the two gray ones. So now Ceri's the only one left. She's the most adorable kitten. She's sweet and playful and absolutely gorgeous. It's amazing.
This evening, I was sitting in the kitchen, playing with my father's schoty when Ceri climbed up onto my shoulder and started watching me moving the beads back and forth. She draped herself over my neck like a scarf (I have had kittens and occasionally cats to do this before, but never voluntarily), and when I held the schoty close enough for her to reach it, she started batting the beads back and forth with her paws. It was the most adorable thing I've seen since Ivanova first decided to groom my hair. Except that I didn't actually see either very clearly, since both were happening around the back of my head. But still.
On a completely different note: Jeff's accent = o_O
He says his l's are nasals and velar/uvular/reeeally far back. (He didn't put it quite like that, but I can't come up with any other way to interpret what he said about it.)
