*gets on soap box*

ahem.

every time a "no on proposition 87" commercial comes on i yell at the tv.

why would we NOT want to free ourselves from the binds of fossil fuels?

i don't mind an extra cent or two per gallon for a while if it means i'll never have to buy gas again afterwards. they say "results aren't required so there likely won't be any"... BULLSHIT! what the hell kind of homer simpson thinking is that?

"the lesson is: never try"

adam corrolla said it best when he compared our cars next to our other technological advances... back in the seventies computers basically were non-existant and now the world is at your beck and mouseclick... video games went from green blobs on black screens to almost photo realistic (not to mention motion sensored)... there are new prosthetic limbs that are controlled by microchips IMPLANTED IN YOUR BRAIN!

IMPLANTED IN YOUR BRAIN!

but other than the fact that it costs more and there's less octane. gasoline is still the same, our cars are pretty much still the same.

we should have freaking hover cars by now!

a vehicle that doesn't depend on gasoline is not a tall order.

there's no reason for it other than the oil companies want us to remain dependent upon them and they have enough money and power to persuade the right people into doing what they need to keep it this way. it's disgusting.

so if you're in california, VOTE! and vote yes on 87

*funded by the amanda is sick of paying for gasoline fundation*
*oh yeah... and health stuff... enviroment stuff too*
*war is bad*
