Hon, this turned out so, so well, particularly the bits of case you had to push through. The other commentators are right: the contrast between all the relationships - okay, I can't write all the permutations of relationships out here - and the horror Neal feels for the case make for an even stronger fic. You should be incredibly proud of every single bit of this.

I still maintain this is the backstory for Nothing Can Resist. :-)
