Mother... tell your children not to look my way

Wow, so much has happened since I posted two weeks ago. I guess I'll start with some cross-posting.

I'm not really sure what to say about the past week or so... I've been dealing with some private issues in several areas of life and consciousness. One of the most damaging events ever has unexpectedly brought liberation from a particular unhealthy, long-term situation and I'm more determined now than ever to develop direction in my life, take care of myself, and value what's important. It's been difficult and very overwhelming at times, but my eyes have been opened and now I'm ready to move on. I'll admit to being hesitant to try some things but it's all in a constant state of flux, and there is so much more out there.

I've been staying busy with projects, reading, cooking, movies (and recently a show called House). I'm registering for some classes starting next month that should be very interesting. I have a few job interviews and appointments during the rest of the week and some great weekend plans. My family has been so wonderful to me... not to mention my dad is busting his arse building my kitchen and getting the electricity, lighting, ceiling, plumbing, etc put in for me. I've been visiting with several friends and I really appreciate the support and love they have shown. It's been such a joy going out to various/new places and catching up and having a good time in general.

Shorts
* Field trip to the fountains was lovely, the kids (and we) had fun.
* Spooky stuff going on around the house
* Went to T's birthday dinner last Friday night, ran into Jina
* I've been catching up with my sis Rachel, and trying to talk her into visiting with Dan.
* Shopping day with parents Saturday; lots of new clothes and decor
* Went out for dinner, drinks and dancing with my lovely friend Jules Sat. night, then to Temple for about 45 minutes.
* Left the club and went to Gaute and Jimmy's afterward, hung out with them, Nathan, Steve, Hanne, and a few others who I mostly made fun of until 7:30 am
* Sunday was Tori's birthday party, visiting with Karla, and Sanctus for a bit of socialising.
* Monday was two job interviews, both of which went so well they both want to hire me. I should be starting sometime in the next week. Also, some drama at work involving The Kid's other caretaker quitting, leaving me responsible for him every day right when I'm about to start a second job. I'm stressed...

That's it for now.
