Disneyland Extravaganza!!!

May 02, 2005 22:48

Contrary to popular opinion, 4 days straight at The Happiest Place on Earth did not make me "bored" of Disneyland....Instead, I am now all the more obsessed, and I cannot wait until I work there.

Because I know I'm going to, dammit... "If it's the last thing I do!!" (Yay Fantasmic!)

there was some parental/sibling drama that I will not go into, but when is there not...But that was all drowned out by the Disney Magic that exuded from every molecule on that trip. When we checked in, they gave me balloons, a Birthday Pin, and an autographed picture from Mickey and Minnie in front of the castle. Oh man, I wanted to cry. But I didn't. Not yet. Then we we got into our suite (IT WAS AMAZING. You could see the entire DCA park, and some of DL itself. We watched the end of fantasmic from our window. Oh I love it.) and they had a birthday basket full of Tinkerbell stuff waiting for me. OH MAN. So then I could barely sleep because I was so excited for the next day at DL!! So I watched a rehearsal they were having in DCA for the Block Party Bash preview on Saturday. It made me want to work there even more. Saturday morning came around, and we went to our Princess Breakfast (drama occurred...let's skip that though.) and the food was amazing....and I'm sorry to say it, but we found out that Aladdin was "this tall!!" too. (Sorry Hill.) The Princess Aurora that day was BEAUTIFUL. Aww....love love love. So we meandered around the park, and had LOADS of fun, and saw the ALADDIN MUSICAL!! AND RYAN!!!!

Ryan is my love at DCA. He works as an usher at the Aladdin show, and I see him everytime I go, and he's absolutely adorable. When I work there, he's going to be my friend. Yay.

Then there was Fantasmic!! So we RUSHED in right after the 9PM show because it was SUPER packed, and we got the BEST SPOTS EVER. Right in front of the rails lining the Rivers of America, almost dead center. (Stupid huge group saved the whole center for BOTH shows. Assholes.) So I took out my handy dandy video camera, and Danielle and Kristi got us all funnel cakes...and we pigged out until we could pig out no more. I cried during Fantasmic, of course...But I love it so much. OMG I have to work there.

And the Sunday was THE BIG DAY. My 18th BIRTHDAY!! Hooray! Love it. Yay for being legal, and having PLUTO HIT ON YOU. hahahaha.....So we're at Ariel's Grotto for lunch, and Pluto just came over and visited at least 4 times. And s/he (?? ...We assume it was a guy.) brought me into the conga line. We danced, we posed...and I made him/her snort. Or "woof"....I guess that's as much as you can break character.

And then Danielle told Pluto I still needed a prom date, and that Pluto should take me...and Pluto made a "call me" gesture. Hah. So....If Pluto's out there, I'd SO go to prom with you. ;) I'm just wondering if I knew the person in the suit, because it was crazy how many times Pluto came over. LOL, and then Max kept kissing my hand, and Donald gave me a "come hither" look. It was SO funny.

UGH I WANT TO BE A CHARACTER SO BAD. I really hope I get the job at my next audition. May 14th!! Wish me luck everyone!! Oh....if anyone's out in the DL/Anaheim area, and would like to explain to me where the Casting Office is, so I can get my application, that would be AWESOME.

OH and I got Fantasmic on CD. I can't stop listening to it. Yes, I'm obsessed.

Still no prom date. But I really love my dress. I'm going to look gooooooood! ;)
