Three Lefts Make A Right...
so, i have very little hours at work and ive purchased close to $300 in computer/tool equipment (thanks to chance for the bucks at the end there)... and ive begun work on the first phase of my computer mod. dunno how many people were interested in this, but ive been linking people here, so, sorry for the burden (ie: long posts and pictures).
the "nibbler" has worked wonders in terms of making my life easier-... though i wish filing the metal barbs down wasnt as noisy. ive been working on it mainly in the late/early hours of the morning, so im sure my neighbors are just exstatic.
here is a picture (somewhat grainy) off my cell phone that i took last night. i got a few hours of sleep a few hours ago, so i may just "burn the candle from both ends"-... wait, was that the right term? basically im gonna stay up for the rest of the day (i work at 5pm) and hopefully make some more progress, cause this is one project i want to finish soon, and continue adding to.
ive also decided im going to cut out and layer the hylian shield and master sword on the other panel (hopefully it doesnt get too heavy), with chances help. weve been discussing modding a tower for him too-... im quite down with the idea of creating art that is functional. i enjoy looking at things, but when they allow me to pirate music and download porn, well, thats fucking awesome.
in other news, my hands are all ripped up from the "nibbled", filings and when one of the shards of metal decided it wanted to give me a high-five the other day. good times. chicks DO dig scarsm, right?... id just feel so lame putting on lotion. if i did, i suppose id have to do it when no one was around, cause if someone saw me putting on AVEENOs newest line of "hand conditioners", i suppose id never outlive the infamy.
chance: hey man, have you begun those sketches? thinking about picking up some of the metal-... if not, no problem. if so, fuck yeah! wanna hit up ace/home depot with me when i get a day off? i have shit for hours next week as well.
everybody else: im really digging the whole metal works, and if you ever need/want something done, id gladly do it for JUST above cost of the materials needed. dunno if anyone is interested, but ill put it out there. im learning to airbrush, and am already quite familiar with the structural integrity of steel ^_^ so, text, IM or post... calls will be accepted, but only when im not asleep, at work or just too lazy to pick up.
